Fredericksburg of Yesteryear

In honor of the Matthews Public Library’s tenth anniversary this year,  we’re taking a look back into the history of the community we serve.  Hundreds of years have passed since the sale of the first lots of land that would eventually become our illustrious village here in northern Lebanon County.  On this page you’ll find links to documents detailing the rich history of Fredericksburg and its surrounding area as well as galleries of photos depicting ‘old Fredericksburg.’
