Join a dozen or so of the closest friends you’ve not yet met at Annville’s first Death Café on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Death Café’s began in London and we’re having them here in Lebanon County, too.

At a Death Café you’ll have discussions about death in a relaxed, non-directed, non-judgmental setting …while enjoying coffee, tea, cake, cookies and conversation

Now you can leauke-check-out-poster-for-webrn to play a ukulele by checking out one of our three concert uke kits that include a concert ukulele, a gig bag, an electronic tuner and a beginner uke book.

Winter 2017 After-School Reading Clubsscience-rocks-2

Welcome to another round of After-school Reading Clubs at the Annville Free Library. This 7 week program includes read-aloud stories, activities, games and crafts. This winter we will be enjoying some Science fun.

 

Grades 1 & 2
Thursdays: Feb. 9, 16, 23, Mar. 2, 9, 16, & 23

Grades 3 & 4
Tuesdays: Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28, Mar. 7, 14, & 21

Please remember that there is NO after-school library program if AC schools close or dismiss early for inclement weather or other emergencies. Bus transportation will be provided for registered AC students to the library from school, and
parents must pick up children at the library at 4:30 pm. Home schooled students and students from other school districtsare welcome to participate, but families must provide their own transportation to & from the library.

The Friends of the Annville Free Library’s Gently Used Book Store

book cellarDrop in to browse THE CELLAR for some excellent bargains on gently used books.  The Cellar is open during regular library hours except when a program is in progress in the Community Room.

All money raised by The Friends directly supports the Annville Free Library.

Do your grocery shopping and help the library at the same time!

You may purchase gift cards in denominations of $100, $50, or $25. Use them at checkout just as you would cash, check, or credit card. They never expire and they can be used at any Giant store or Giant gas pumps.

Friends earn 5% of the amount of cards sold.
