walking tour coverWalking Tour of the Six Sites of the Annville Free Library

Annville residents are familiar with the red brick building on Main Street that houses the Annville Free Library, and many are no doubt familiar with its history: how Gideon and Alice Kreider provided the land and original structure in 1950 and how in 1990 that structure was enlarged and rededicated; but how many of you know the places the library was beforehand, when it began as a dream of Lillie Struble to provide for the community?

Would you guess: in a barbershop? in a basement? a garage? a gift shop? the office of a water company?

All of the above?

Join us Sunday, October 9th @ 2:00 pm

to take a guided tour of those sites; meet David Wallace, the 1st librarian & enjoy refreshments.

Tickets : $5.00  available at the library (children 12 and under free)
