* Twain in the Twenty-first Century!  What would Mark Twain have to say were he alive today?  Find out when he comes to the library on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.  Alan Kitty's impersonation of Twain explores the nearly inexhaustible parallels between Twain's century and ours.
* Local Author Book Signing!  On Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. Deborah McKinney, author of Eye For Trouble, will be here at the library to autograph copies of her book.  Click here for more details about the author, the book and the signing!
* Canvas tote bags are currently on sale to benefit the library.  Each bag is $5, measures approximately 15 in. x 10 in. x 5 in., and features the green slogan "Go green @ your library" with the library web address.  Stop in at the library to buy your bag today!
* December Cookie Buffet!  The Valentine's Day Cookie Buffet was such a hit that we're hosting another cookie buffet in December.  Stop by the library on Thursday, December 17; Friday, December 18, and Saturday, December 19, 2009 to buy your special someone a lovely gift of cookies.  Proceeds benefit the library.
