Palmyra Public Library is currently accepting applications for community members to serve on the Palmyra Publc Library Board of Directors. The Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month except for July, August and December. For additional information or an application, contact Executive Director, Karla Marsteller.

Looking for an article, obituary or other item from a current or past newspaper? Palmyra Public Library now offers free access (with your library card) to these five newspapers, along with numerous other papers and national news magazines. Just click on the logos to get started.

Palmyra Public Library now offers free access to World Book Online and World Book Kids through your home or work computer.

World Book Online includes all of the articles from the 22-volume print set, plus more than 9,500 pictures and maps, 115 videos and animations, 9,300 sounds, and more than 100 simulated historic Web sites.You can also access World Book Kids, which includes the online version of World Book's award-winning Student Discovery Encyclopedia, dozens of hands-on learning activities correlated to curriculum standards, and thousands of colorful illustrations, diagrams, and maps.
